Agreement signed with Structuralia
KeelWit has signed an agreement with Structuralia to develop and teach some courses on energy efficiency and energy audits. Fourth year of KeelWit’s participation in Inicia Programme organised by the Rafael del Pino Foundation
The Rafael del Pino Foundation, in partnership with the Madrid Confederation of Entrepreneurs and Chamber of Commerce organized the Inicia Programme, with the aim of introducing young people to the world of business and entrepreneurs. Several thousands of students in Madrid have participated in previous editions, with some of them already considering starting a career as entrepreneurs and others changing their image of business people and their importance in our society. For the third consecutive year, Isaac Prada and José María Cancer were chosen to address a number of sessions with students from 16 to 18 years of age, during which entrepreneurship is shown as a potential alternative career once they finish their studies. Personal training course on ansys fluent use for KeelWit Technology
Special training course for KeelWit Technology engineers at its HQ in Madrid. The advanced training course was tailor-made for KeelWit Technology, as part of the Company’s on-going enhancement plan, aimed at furthering knowledge in Computer Fluid Dynamics, using the most powerful software available. The contents selected will allow KeelWit’s engineers to face especially complex cases in CFD simulations such as: – Fluid mixing in partially full pipes – Erosion and sudden pressure variations due to partial or total blocking of fluid pipes caused by fouling detachment from pipe inner surface – Phase change: solid-liquid or liquid-gas. – Hydraulic obstacles in water channel – Supercritical fluid behaviour and performance in conduits and equipment – Water or fluid hammer (simulation of quick transient phenomena of great pressure variations) – Deforming and moving meshes and mesh generation/erasing – Burners for pirotubular boilers Currently, there are only 150 companies in Spain that have purchased an official software license for this powerful and complex tool. It proves that KeelWit is a cutting-edge engineering company, fully equipped and experienced in fluid dynamic calculations that can be later empirically tested in the Company’s own air wind tunnel. Isaac Prada and José María Cancer lecture in the electric & hybrid vehicle course organized by ASEPA and INSIA
ASEPA (Asociación Española de Profesionales de Automoción) has prepared a training course dealing with the special characteristics of this type of vehicles, under the supervision of INSIA (University Institute of Automobile Research). Participants are automotive industry professionals linked to electro-mobility as well as several amateurs of electric cars. José María Cancer (co-founder of ASEPA) and Isaac Prada explained the main characteristics of Light Electric Vehicles, its market trends and types of users as well as how KeelWit designs and engineers this kind of Pedelecs. A special chapter was devoted to specific legislation and dynamic and EMC tests needed for the homologation of the units. The session was enriched with the possibility for participants to handle components and materials used in the development of Last Mile Delivery tricycles engineered by KeelWit.
