New sessions for Fundación Rafel del Pino

José María Cancer & Isaac Prada lecture on Light Electric Vehicles for INSIA’s Master on Electric and Hybrid Vehicles

José María Cancer & Isaac Prada lectured on Light Electric Vehicles as a part of the INSIA Electric & Hybrid Vehicles Master course. The session is focused on the regulations governing the EPAC (Electrically Power-Assisted Cycles) industry, the design and manufacturing of new models, energy sizing and component technology. During the whole session they both showed KeelWit’s models designed and built for e-bike and e-trike manufacturers. After the class conclusion, a long Q&A session was held, where the 31 attendants asked for additional information whilst getting familiar with the different e-bike components handed by KeelWit. KeelWit is awarded a new contract with AMEC Foster Wheeler North America

The good results achieved in previous cooperations with its Spanish subsidiary has pushed AMEC Foster Wheeler North America to work with KeelWit directly. This project consisting of several CFD simulations shall allow the engineering group the optimization of the HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) used in a combined heat & power plant they are starting to build. This is the first time KeelWit has been chosen by other subsidiaries out of Spain of this international engineering group, for whom KeelWit has worked in tight cooperation since early 2014....

José María Cancer & Isaac Prada lectured in the 7th ICAI Alumni Congress

José María Cancer was selected as a lecturer for the round table on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” and Isaac Prada for the round table on “Sustainability and Environmental Challenges” both taken place during the 7th ICAI Alumni Congress that took place in Madrid in November 2015. With over 500 participants, this congress was held as a relevant occasion to allow this important think-tank to discuss its core values and role in nowadays’ society as a source of  “Value and skills open to society”. Madrid Fly’s wind tunnel starts with its testing period

The Vertical Wind Tunnel designed and built by KeelWit Technology for its use as an Indoor Skydiving facility has started its fine tuning and testing period prior to its public opening before the end of this year. This facility belongs to Madrid Fly, company in which KeelWit holds a relevant stake. After several years of studies and 12 months of civil work, KeelWit has been able to turn on the sophisticated machinery behind this iconic engineering project developed by a group of Spanish investors only using Spanish Technology. The whole project has meant an investment of more than 6 million euros, where R&D has played a relevant role. With its over 1600 m3/sec of air moving at a speed of 300 km/h, World Championships of this vibrant sport shall be held in its location of Las Rozas de Madrid. Click here to watch the...
