“Towards tomorrow’s Automotive. The path to a real sustainability”, new article published by Isaac Prada in the Journal of the ICAI Engineering Association
In this article, Isaac talks about the role that Automotive might play in the world’s efforts for a more sustainable future, what’s behind the current trend towards sustainability in this industry and how vehicles shall be used in the future. The article explains the increasing role of Automotive in the energy consumption mix in Europe and even more in the transport industry. It describes the new technologies, those ready to use or still being developed (electric & hybrid vehicles, regenerative breaking, hydraulic cars, etc.). “Team Spirit in Formula 1” and “Managing your team under stress and in uncertain environments as Formula 1 Team principals do ”, two new trainings developed for Banco Santander and Repsol
Based on the contents of the Formula One Managers training, KeelWit has developed and taught a special course on how “Team Spirit” is developed in Formula One Teams to 34 managers of Banco Santander. The course included some exercises in the flying chamber of Madrid Fly, where team skills were tested and trained to achieve better results through planification and practice. 17 managers from REPSOL also received in the Technological Centre of the company a special training on how to manage stress and how to turn it in a positive condition for working under extraordinary pressure conditions, like Formula One teams and drivers do. The second part of this course was devoted to the quantification and limitation of uncertainty and how there are powerful tools, like clustering, to study in advance only the most relevant scenarios that can happen amidst the plethora of them that might arise. ...

Energy Audits in FLOWSERVE, ZITRON, MUTUA UNIVERSAL and URSA
KeelWit Technology has been performing energy audits in factories and buildings since 2012. Since the RD 56/2016 was published, forcing big companies to perform an energy audit before November 2016, this activity has been enhanced. In the last months we have been working on the audits of: Over 80 offices and care centers of Mutua Universal spread all over Spain Zitrón’s fan and mining equipment factory in Asturias Flowserve’s hydraulic pump factory in Coslada URSA’s glass wool factory in Tarragona. The final audit reports shall be registered following the RD 56/2016 requirements but shall also become the guidelines for an emission and energy consumption reduction in these companies during the following 4 years. ...

New Indoor Skydiving Tunnel to be built in Krakow (Poland)
Following the success of Madrid Fly’s tunnel, engineered by KeelWit for EYDISA Wind Tunnels, different groups of investors in this business have approached the facilities and started conversations to purchase an Indoor Skydiving Tunnel for other cities around the world. The first tunnel turnkey project already signed is the Indoor Skydiving Tunnel to be built by EYDISA in Krakow (Poland) for INDOOR SKYDIVING Sp. z o.o., This facility is going to become a reference in Skydiving tunnels in Europe and a hot spot in Krakow as the place chosen to build it is close to a forest and a lake acting as a tourist destination for people all around Poland.
