“Towards tomorrow’s Automotive. The path to a real sustainability”, new article published by Isaac Prada in the Journal of the ICAI Engineering Association

In this article, Isaac talks about the role that Automotive might play in the world’s efforts for a more sustainable future, what’s behind the current trend towards sustainability in this industry and how vehicles shall be used in the future.  The article explains the increasing role of Automotive in the energy consumption mix in Europe and even more in the transport industry. It describes the new technologies, those ready to use or still being developed (electric & hybrid vehicles, regenerative breaking, hydraulic cars, etc.). It also unveils, as still less popular, new car uses in the future, focusing in autonomous cars studied from every aspect (technical, legal, etc.). You can read (in Spanish) the whole article in:...

“Team Spirit in Formula 1” and “Managing your team under stress and in uncertain environments as Formula 1 Team principals do ”, two new trainings developed for Banco Santander and Repsol

Based on the contents of the Formula One Managers training, KeelWit has developed and taught a special course on how “Team Spirit” is developed in Formula One Teams to 34 managers of Banco Santander. The course included some exercises in the flying chamber of Madrid Fly, where team skills were tested and trained to achieve better results through planification and practice.        17 managers from REPSOL also received in the Technological Centre of the company a special training on how to manage stress and how to turn it in a positive condition for working under extraordinary pressure conditions, like Formula One teams and drivers do. The second part of this course was devoted to the quantification and limitation of uncertainty and how there are powerful tools, like clustering, to study in advance only the most relevant scenarios that can happen amidst the plethora of them that might arise.  ...

Several working sessions held, linked to the “Formula One Managers” program

After the success achieved in May with the first seminar  on the techniques used by Formula 1 Teams to improve their results that was lectured by KeelWit for 22 businessmen of different companies (Tecnatom, Airbus, Swatch Group, Robert Bosch, ATKearney, etc.)  two more trainings have taken place. In a specific session delivered for 36 members of YPO (Young President’s Organization) the group first discussed on the difficulties on “Bringing up a technology-based start-up in Spain”. Later they worked during the P3 (Planification, Practice and Performance) workshop on how F1 Teams improve their performance in pit stops by designing, practicing and performing every single movement they are going to take, within a very limited lapse of time. This session was applied to the design of a Belly-4 flying routine to be performed with body creepers. During the month of June, 49 members of Robert Bosch’s team in Madrid worked in a seminar devoted to creativity, problem solving and quick priority-assignment techniques. Both workshops took place in Madrid Fly’s facilities and ended with a “maiden flight” for all those who desired to experience the Indoor Skydiving feeling.   ...
